A New Season in Kenya
Kenya has long been part of the NAMS story. There are men and women in Nairobi who have been shaped by NAMS training, who understand what a disciple-making church looks like, and who carry a vision for planting one. This initiative is about releasing them to do it.
Following a season of prayer, reflection, and strategic planning, NAMS Network is formally re-engaging in Kenya with a clear structure, named leaders, and a commitment to accountability on both sides of the relationship.
Two Streams, One Goal
The Kenya team has organized their work into two complementary ministry streams, both oriented toward the same long-term purpose: establishing healthy, multiplying churches in Kenya.
Fellowship, Leadership & Church Planting
Rebuilding the NAMS Kenya fellowship community, developing ministry leaders, and pursuing a church plant under pastoral and denominational accountability — with Kenya Assemblies of God oversight.
Skills & Sports Outreach
A six-month pilot reaching young people in three Nairobi children's homes through media skills training, football and netball ministry, and integrated discipleship — creating the relational networks from which future congregations grow.
Locally Rooted Leadership
This work is locally rooted. The leaders carrying it are not outside imports — they are Kenyans who know their city, who have been trained by NAMS, and who have counted the cost of what it means to plant a church.
Bachelor of Theology, Presbyterian University of East Africa. NAMS GAP Graduate. Pursuing pastoral preparation under Kenya Assemblies of God for church planting.
Theologian and cinematographer with deep community roots in Nairobi. Leads the skills and sports outreach stream, equipping young people and creating gospel on-ramps in the city.
Rwandan leader based in Idaho with longstanding relationship with the Kenya team, serving as a cultural bridge between the local work and NAMS global leadership.
Built for Accountability
Sustainable mission work requires clear accountability. Edwin and Victor report quarterly to NAMS global leadership, with an annual review each year. Any financial request goes through a formal written process reviewed by the NAMS board. We believe in building carefully, relationally, and with full transparency.
NAMS Network is a registered nonprofit. All gifts are tax-deductible and stewarded with full accountability to our board.
