The work no one is doing.
Pioneering isn't about empty places on a map. It is seeing work no one is doing — sometimes in a town full of churches — and starting it. It almost always begins with a few people who see a need. Which means it almost always begins alone. NAMS exists so that it doesn't stay that way.
Start what no one has started
In Bluffton, South Carolina, there are churches on every corner — and thousands of people none of them are reaching. One man saw them and set out to plant a new network of churches for the unchurched. He found NAMS; we discerned the Lord was in it, and we went with him. That is pioneering.
Churches that plant churches
Multiplication cannot be added to a church later — it has to be in the DNA at birth. So every church we help plant begins helping to plant another before it is "finished." In Mount Pleasant, one planter is praying and working toward ten churches for a hundred thousand people.
Go with those who've gone before
Pioneers usually start alone. They don't have to stay that way. NAMS brings what the lone pioneer lacks — decades of experience, training, connections, and a global family under a common Rule — so that going first never means going by yourself.

Discipled through prison ministry and sports evangelism in Bangkok, GJ now leads an education program for slum children, plants churches, and leads the GAP program in India.
The Church of King Jesus Network is being planted in Bluffton — walking with NAMS through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and oversight, and giving back to the wider mission as it grows.
A family for the called.
NAMS is a training and equipping family of works — not a mission sending agency. We don't recruit individuals to send abroad, and we're not a denominational placement network. If you're looking for sending support or a missionary placement, NAMS probably isn't the right fit.
But if you're a leader, planter, or congregation already called to making missionary disciples and longing for serious training and partnership in it, the network was built for you — and you are warmly welcome.
The work is global. The joy is shared.
