Plant multiplying
churches.
By equipping and training pioneering global church planters. Pioneering isn't going where no one has been — it's doing the work no one is doing. All over the world, ordinary people who see that work are being formed into disciple-makers and sent to plant churches that plant churches — one family, rejoicing in the one Gospel, serving the one Church, giving itself to the one Mission.
The work no one is doing.
Pioneering isn't about empty places on a map. It is seeing work no one is doing — sometimes in a town full of churches — and starting it. It almost always begins with a few people who see a need. Which means it almost always begins alone. NAMS exists so that it doesn't stay that way.
Start what no one has started
In Bluffton, South Carolina, there are churches on every corner — and thousands of people none of them are reaching. One man saw them and set out to plant a new network of churches for the unchurched. He found NAMS; we discerned the Lord was in it, and we went with him. That is pioneering.
Churches that plant churches
Multiplication cannot be added to a church later — it has to be in the DNA at birth. So every church we help plant begins helping to plant another before it is "finished." In Mount Pleasant, one planter is praying and working toward ten churches for a hundred thousand people.
Go with those who've gone before
Pioneers usually start alone. They don't have to stay that way. NAMS brings what the lone pioneer lacks — decades of experience, training, connections, and a global family under a common Rule — so that going first never means going by yourself.
If you are carrying a call like this, you don't have to carry it alone. We have walked this road before, and we can walk it with you. And if you are called to send rather than go, partner with us. Your gift doesn't just fund a pioneer. It makes you one.
One network. Three works.
NAMS Network is the body that oversees, sustains, and funds the whole — and within it, three distinct works equip and send pioneering church planters around the globe.
Training
The training arm of the network. Equipping churches and leaders to make missionary disciples — teaching them to joyfully obey all that Christ commanded.

Meet the Order →Rooted in places. Sent to the nations.
From Chile to the Carolinas, the American Midwest to India and Southeast Asia — the network's bases, apprentices, and teachers are at work and bearing fruit in countries across continents.
Real doorways, real callings.
NAMS has specific ways in, and each one is an invitation to be formed, equipped, and sent. Walk through the one that fits where God is calling you.
Begin with the Disciple-Making Journey
An eight-week formation centered on Matthew 4:19 — a fresh look at the joy and weight of following Jesus and making disciples. It is how most people first encounter NAMS, and how you discover whether this call resonates with your own.
The 52-Week Guide to Church Planting
A year-long cohort led by Jon Shuler, founder of NAMS — for those already committed to planting who want the discipline, theology, and practical training to do it faithfully and fruitfully. Admission by conversation, not application form.
Already committed to disciple-making?
If your congregation already believes disciple-making is the central work of the local church, NAMS exists to train, equip, and walk alongside you in it — partners in the same joyful labor.

Discipled through prison ministry and sports evangelism in Bangkok, GJ now leads an education program for slum children, plants churches, and leads the GAP program in India.
The Church of King Jesus Network is being planted in Bluffton — walking with NAMS through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and oversight, and giving back to the wider mission as it grows.
A family for the called.
NAMS is a training and equipping family of works — not a mission sending agency. We don't recruit individuals to send abroad, and we're not a denominational placement network. If you're looking for sending support or a missionary placement, NAMS probably isn't the right fit.
But if you're a leader, planter, or congregation already called to making missionary disciples and longing for serious training and partnership in it, the network was built for you — and you are warmly welcome.
The work is global. The joy is shared.
Your giving sustains the whole family — training through 2820, apprentices through GAP, and the Order's bases and church plants worldwide. Every gift helps multiply the Gospel.
